Genau genommen handelt es sich um einen Love Song zugunsten der Liebenden. Auf die, die sich trauen, ihre Zuneigung auszusprechen und auszuleben. Auch wenn dabei das eigene Ego den einen oder anderen Kratzer erleiden muss und man als "der liebende Depp" dasteht. Sei's drum, genau diese Idealist:innen sind es, die unsere Welt zu einem liebevolleren Ort machen. Don’t take them for granted!

Musikalisch ist „Fool of the Loving Kind“ ein Wunschkind - gezeugt von einer der 70er Jahre verfallenen, gitarrenlastigen Melancholie und einer offenherzigen Leichtigkeit, die man empfindet, wenn man sich selbst in die Augen schauen kann.
